As we celebrate women’s achievements around the world, the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance under its ICT Innovation initiative would like to specially recognise women-led ICT Innovations (including inventions, products or systems) that have been developed in Uganda or by Ugandans
The Ministry under the National ICT Initiatives Support Program has a mandate to create a sustainable ecosystem for ICT innovations and to support ICT innovators and application developers and as such, the role women have played in pushing Uganda’s agenda towards achieving this objective in the recent past cannot be emphasised enough.
Therefore, the Ministry is organising a 6-day conference between 7th – 12th March 2022 at the National ICT Innovation Hub, Nakawa under the theme: “CELEBRATING UGANDA’S WOMEN IN ICT AND INNOVATION”. We hereby invite all women-led innovations to apply for the opportunity to showcase locally developed products at the innovation hub between Monday 7th to 12th March, 2022
ELIGIBILITY
Women-led innovations are strongly encouraged to apply. Otherwise, teams interested in participating in the exhibition must comprise of at least 50% women operating at any administrative level within the company or innovation.
Innovations from any sectors and discipline including entrepreneurs, students, application developers, are all encouraged to apply
